What is Glamping?
You’ve probably heard of glamping at least once, but what is it? It’s inspired by, “the tradition of the African safari camp, the Mongolian desert yurt, Indigenous teepees or the gold prospector’s tent,” according to Destination Ontario’s official website. This is a wonderful way to experience the Canadian wilderness, but with the comforts of a five star hotel.
Glamping has really become a growing trend over the last few years, and we aren’t surprised. You’re getting the fun of camping, but with the luxury of a hotel. Often a lot of these places even offer breakfast, what more could you ask for?
Luxury Lift offers a private car service to and from the airport but also to your glamping location. We love welcoming people to Ontario and then helping them get to these beautiful escapes. Consider us your official glamping transportation service.
According to Wikipedia, glamping is described as “a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort-style services not usually associated with "traditional" camping.” There are quite a few locations in Ontario that offer this type of luxurious camping style and we have listed a few of them below.
