Cottage Country Private Transportation
If there’s one thing you need to know about Ontario’s cottage country is that it’s located in one of the most beautiful places in the province. Luxury Lift provides a cottage country private transportation service to and from this spectacular place.
In this blog, we’ll discuss some of the different areas in Ontario's cottage country that you can visit and hopefully help you plan your vacation. There are many different cities and regions that make up Ontario’s cottage country and no matter where you choose, Luxury Lift will be there to provide you with an excellent experience.
Where to Stay & More
As we mentioned above, cottage country is made up of many different regions and cities. It can sometimes be overwhelming to choose where to stay. Depending on what you’re hoping to do while in cottage country, you can choose from rentals, hotels and resorts.
Huntsville is located north of Berrie and Orillia and is one of the most popular cottage country locations. From Toronto this can sometimes be a shorter trip of up to 2.5 hours, depending on the traffic. It’s also located near both the Algonquin Provincial Park and Arrowhead Provincial Park. Whether you’re looking for a camping vacation or want to rent a cottage this is a great location to choose. Visitors can enjoy great dining, shopping, and more.
Perry Sound is located about 3 hours from Toronto on Georgian Bay. There are 30,000 islands and 2,000 km of shore line to enjoy and discover here. This is also a very historic place that celebrates the history of the land and has museums where you can learn more about the area. If you’re interested in camping there’s a ton of that here as well!
If you’re looking for somewhere just outside of Toronto, Wasaga Beach might be the best location. Located only a few hours away from the city you can find the world's longest freshwater beach. Wasaga Beach is located in Simcoe county and at the southwest inlet of Georgian Bay. There’s lots of tourist attractions such as shops, restaurants, and more. Plus, there are lots of accommodations to choose from, vacation rentals to hotels and more.
There are so many more regions and cities that you can visit when choosing your vacation in Ontario’s cottage country. One of the most popular regions is Muskoka, which includes most of the areas/cities that we covered in this blog. However, this is a very large province so when it comes to where you can rent a cottage or choose a hotel it is endless. Luxury Lift will be there to get you to your destination!
